I Liked the Sun More!

I definitely got used to having nice weather last week and here it is the last few days so cold. I know it’s actually not that cold, it’s in the 40s and considering Sierra, Nevada is getting pounded with snow, I guess we are pretty lucky. As long as there are no snow storms, I am happy.

I must admit though, in an act of defiance against Mother Nature, I have worn flip-flops the last two days. I know it’s silly and my toes feel like they are freezing off, but when people start wearing flip-flops it’s a sure sign that summer is coming. Since I already broke out my 10 pairs, I refuse to put them back in the closest.

I am thankful that all things considered, this has been a light winter. But I am REALLY ready for spring to be here!!

So, while everyone else seems to being going away to a tropical island for Spring Break, I will be stuck in the sub par climate in Albany. Not that cold- not very warm either.
